Growing Apples
Growing Apples is a series I shot covering a full growing season of Tall Spindle apple production throughout Upstate New York for the Cornell University Cooperative Extension. Working with experts from around the world, the goal was to show the best practices for growing the finest apples anywhere using this process.
As a food photographer, I usually shy away from eating the food I shoot, preferring to treat it strictly as a subject. For New York apples picked off the tree, I make an exception.
